| Comments: | Nice wonderfully deep a capella muted brass ensemble-effect arrangement of this tune by Coltrane. You can hear how the melody and the chords carry over the presiding Eb to make a smooth cool neo-bop era jazz sound. Note how the 6th part doesn't enter until the final phrase. It provides a surprise element concluding the tag. Demands high-quality blending and shaping! |
