Comments: | Tenor pop moment to start and bass diddly at the end. I couldn't decide which version this was closer to: Jake Mathews country song or Emma Roberts theme for "Ice Princess"... Most likely wrote it after watching the movie. Draws some influence from 'NSync too, I must admit. Anyway, it's a nice partially modal medium drawing from some jazz... watch the B2 clashes in that inverted major 7th tension point on "had"; be gentle with that, though it is the phrase's peak. Finishes strong where the bass can seep into the B2 after his diddly. You'll love the chord on "my"! |
