Lyrics:Circle of 5th and parallel 7th together in a Barbershop Tag. What a Tag!
Comments:This Tag was composed in a hallway at Harmony University, 2009, by Darwin Scheel, Jameslee Barr, Jamie Arrington, Hugo Feugen, and Paul Olguin.
This is a more challenging Tag to sing/hear even though all voice parts have the exact same simple melody part. Put this Tag together by teaching the Bass part first then add the Baritone as these two parts are easy to hear and complement each other with parallel 5th intervals throughout this Tag. The Lead and Tenor part are more easily sung if they hear their individual melody line in their own key relative to the melody line they are singing; the melody begins on the 5th scale, a perfect 4th below the key note so the Lead would hear their melody part sung in the key of C and the Tenor would hear their melody part sung in the key of F# (Gb).
