| Comments: | The Divorce Tag aka The Breakup Tag aka The Bitch Tag was written about a wonderful married barbershop couple who nearly split up in the mid-2000s. It is sung mostly among members of the Ambassadors of Harmony but has, as of 2019, spread to barbershoppers in the Netherlands. The lead singer should emphasize the glissando on the word, come. Quartets should accent the last word of the tag for effect...and a chuckle. Incidentally, the couple who inspired this tag ultimately stuck together and shall never be identified. |
