| Comments: | From Bob Landry's Little Black Book of Tags This is slightly different version of this tag. Bari 3rd note and 2nd to last note is different, and bass has echo at end, going up to 4 on "I". May seem subtle, but make big difference in overall effect. (Since this was notated by my dad decades ago, I could claim this is the original, but it's also possible some liberties were taken during notation!) Also, Tag is notated in "number system" format, with X=Do and 2, 3, 4, etc denoting position in the major scale. No sharps or flats, an underline pushes the note up a 1/2. No sight-reading necessary. |
